Top 10 Points about How to Achieve Our Goal with Help of Self-Study and Learning

It is acceptable that goal setting is not the final beauty of SSL. The real beauty is goal achieving, so before going further, it is wise to take some points that are good for goal achieving. Some experts suggest the following general rules as top 10 points points, which will clearly take us to achieve the goal of SSL. These are as follows:

1.    We should think, deliberate and consider about where we want to get in life with SSL skills.

2.    We should conclude a firm decision about our basic objectives and SSL skills, methods and techniques as our helper.

3.    We should formulate and write down our goal, which should also be goal of our learning of SSL, in a clear manner without any negative thought.

4.    We should study and learn all that we can about our goal of SSL skills, methods and techniques and this is how we can achieve our goals of SSL.

5.    We have to fix a time for achieving our goal for SSL skills, methods and techniques, and thus achieving other goals.

6.    We should pray, meditate introspect and deliberate about our decision to be sure that it is right. We have to be sure that it is right.

7.    We have to give our goal of SSL skills, methods and techniques complete and unremitting efforts and never give up trying.

8.    We should always apply positive thinking.

9.    We should never assume that we have it made. One goal attained leads to another and new shapes to old goals come. So, we should maximize our selves for better goal setting and its achievement.

10.    Once we have success in achieving the goal of SSL, we can transfer our successes to some other goals in our life so that our success should be in all directions and levels of our life.

In this discussion - a series we need to take care of these points.

Our purposes always determine our actions, behaviors and attitudes.

If we understand the purpose of SSL, we will be able to change our lives. Whether you are a male or a female, the purpose of SSL remains the same. Its purpose is to develop us as a human being. We accept that to be human is higher than just to be a man or a woman - the biological and or psychological levels as we are aiming at and for philosophical level, the essence of wisdom that does not depend on the gender.

Thus, SSL (Self-Study and Learning) is the degree of learning that earns certificate and degrees, if we ever wish.

How Education Can Help In Self-Development - The Self-Study and Learning (SSL) Way

The education has always aimed at the self-development of the individual student or learner. The self-study and learning has the same aim to develop such skills in us so that we should be able to learn in such a way that practically we should not be a known as uneducated humans. If we develop the art of self-study and learning, it is as if we have learned the ultimate of learning. Without it we will find many educated people who are practically uneducated.

You see such people will able to teach other and they will also be helpless to make use of education in their daily life. It will appear that such people have been taught but they have lacked something, which made them bad learners. There can be possibly many drawbacks, but we will talk about self-study and learning only. As we know self-study and learning aims to improve our drawbacks and weaknesses which leads us to bad learning. We will include even those students who obtain very high grades and are not able to make use of their learning in daily life.

Now the goal of SSL is not confined to students in educational institutions. The goal of SSL is to reach at the stage where SSL becomes out target, which should never seem to us as being imposed by educational institutions, parents or society. If we can make this an integral part of our SSL, we are surely the luckiest citizens of our planet. This is the beauty of learning that we learn it, yes we can learn it for personality development, which is peace of mind when we consider it for self-development.

Thanks for your time to read it!

How Self-study and Learning is Essential for Excellence of Citizenship

Self-study and learning is very dynamic in nature as its presence is integral and indispensable need for development of personality and self-culture. It will be foolish to claim that anybody's personality has developed so much that it is static now.

Whether it is self-study and learning or other milestones of education, without any doubt all of these milestones are philosopher's stones.

One we get the touch of learning these, we become gifted enough to share it with others. Our educational gifts are to be shared otherwise even the wisest becomes a labeled identity for nothing good and useful.

As self-study and learning is unique and uncommon factor of education, its role is most different and difficult to describe in few words. However, words can confine its reflection of role in brief that if we are students, self-study and learning in studentship because teaching and learning cannot be materialized without it.

Self-study and learning is the real experience of what we are studying at any place, whether educational institution or elsewhere. Moreover, its role is the backbone of the real life learning’s, because without it no learner can learn to practice what he or she has learnt.

It is application that makes anything useful not just the presence. Self-study and learning bear so many applications as the student who is well versed in it is likely to apply it for personal, educational family, social, occupational, humanity and thus universal development and welfare.

Being the excellence of studentship, it is of great importance and need for physical, emotional, mental, philosophical, and moral and even the spiritual and thus the personality development of any learner. And what is an excellence of education is also an excellence of citizenship.

How Self Study and Learning (SSL) is Important for All Students and Learners

By SSL skills, we mean the efficient ways of doing anything that promotes our educational lives and lives in general. The development of the skills and its proper utility requires good perceiving, forming concepts, remembering, solving problems, creativity, thinking etc. We have to arouse intent to improve; utilize our goals, ideals, models etc.; consistent practice; learning the act as a whole; discovery of knowledge of results, flexibility in performance etc. to acquire and develop SSL skills, methods and techniques.

We also need to remember that we have to find successful methods, effective techniques, speed and accuracy for efficiency, practice motivation and concentration besides beating stress to become efficient and effective in SSL skills, method and techniques which we are going to discuss in detail in this book.

Learning is the backbone of the education and teaching is the head of it. What we learn is not what we are taught but what we want to learn. Whenever the student is in the classroom, it is not assured that he or she is learning from the teacher, as it may be the opposite because the only thing that a student may lack is the ability to learn; no doubt, every person has aptitude and attitude for learning from both internal, i.e., self-orientation and external.

It is very common that many students go anywhere to get education but they learn many things, which are actually prohibited in education as it makes learning abilities, polluted which can misguide the student at later stages of his or her mental, emotional and social developments. The learning cannot take place without self-study because it is like the banks to the river to learning. The self-study is capacity of learning and it is by improving self-study and ability to learn, a student can get substantial gain in both education and all other fields and faculties of learning and living.

However, it does not appear integrated part of the education system as yet, there is no doubt, it is the best possible remedial and preventive measure for the self-study and learning handicaps, the students in particular and other related to education and society in general can surely get benefits form learning the educationally oriented skills for the self-study and learning for peace of mind with better marks and grades. Thanks!
